Privacy policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
This policy explains what information Projecteffina (projecteffina.org) collects when you use the site, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep collection to what the site needs to work, measure readership and stay funded.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, the subject you choose and your message. When you sign up for our newsletter, the form collects the details it asks for, such as your name and email address.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server and analytics tools record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring page and the time of your visit.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them to measure how the site is used and to deliver ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some measurement and ad features may not.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how people find us. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects usage data that Google processes under its own privacy policy. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on for disabling Google Analytics.
Advertising
Ads on Projecteffina are served through Revive Adserver. The ad server and the advertisers it works with may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver ads, limit how often you see the same ad, and measure results. We don't sell the contact details you send us to advertisers.
Newsletter form provider
Our newsletter signup form is provided by a third-party form and CRM service (Sphere CRM). Information you enter in that form is processed by that provider to manage your subscription. Every newsletter includes a way to unsubscribe.
RSS headlines and third-party links
Some pages show headlines from other publishers' public RSS feeds and link to outside sites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we're not responsible for them. Our server fetches the feeds directly, so loading our pages doesn't send your information to those publishers until you click a link.
How we use information
We use information to answer messages, send newsletters you asked for, understand and improve the site, keep it secure, and support the site through advertising. We keep contact messages only as long as we need them to respond and keep reasonable records.
Your rights
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you can ask to know what personal information we hold about you, ask us to delete or correct it, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.
Visitors in the EU, UK and similar regions (GDPR): you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Projecteffina is written for adults and young adults entering the workforce. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes and contact
We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. To make a privacy request or ask a question, use our contact form.
